Top-10 finish with ULMS at Genesee; Podium at Marion Center

Dylan Cecce launched a packed Fourth of July weekend on Thursday with a visit to The Dirt Track at Genesee (N.Y.) for the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series doubleheader.

He raced into the opener with a fourth-place finish in his heat race, but mechanical issues forced him to retire early—pulling off on lap two of the 30-lap feature.

Returning Friday for the second night of the Stars and Stripes Showdown, Cecce qualified seventh-fastest overall and followed with a third-place heat finish. In the $10,004-to-win A-Main, he delivered a consistent performance, finishing seventh.

Cecce wrapped up the weekend on a high note Sunday at Marion Center Raceway, where he raced to a third-place finish, joining race-winner Paul Kot and runner-up Jon Lee on the podium.
