Cecce notches fifth-place finish in ULMS' Steel City Stampede at Lernerville
Dylan Cecce returned to the driver’s seat of the Russ Clark Motorsports No. 18 Super Late Model over the weekend for the 16th annual Steel City Stampede at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.).
With 21 Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) entries on the grounds on Friday night for the event also serving as the rescheduled Ken Schaltenbrand Sr. Memorial, Cecce outran pole-starting Alex Ferree in his heat race to secure the eight-lap victory.
Earning the fourth-starting position for Saturday night’s $4,000-to-win Steel City Stampede main event, Dylan soared to a fifth-place finish in the 30-lap affair. He chased Michael Norris, Ryan Montgomery, Colton Flinner, and Alex Ferree to the checkers.
